"This museum was established on the premises of the Siauliai water supply tower in 1974. The exhibition is arranged in a circle inside the tower perimeter. It presents the history of the Joint-Stock Company “Siauliu Vandenys”, its construction, regional water economy development and reconstruction stages, the achievements of its team-working staff, its traditions and its recent activities.
The most interesting exhibits consist of photographs from the beginning of the 20th Century, which not only reveal the construction of the water supply and plumbing systems, but also present the history of Siauliai.
The first work tools and equipment are also exhibited. For instance chisels, pipe-cleaning brushes, cracked and plugged hot- and cold-water pipes, hydraulic pumps, various water-measuring instruments, and water samples from each of the Siauliai water sources.
The current water economy is also presented in the form of graphs and diagrams." (Museums of Lithuania)
