The collection comprises creative works by Juozas Bagdonas (USA), Jadvyga Paukstiene (USA), Adomas Galdikas (USA), Vytautas Ignas (USA), Telesforas Valius (Canada), Alfonsas Dargis (Germany), Vaclovas Ratas (Australia), Adomas Vingis (Australia), Pranas Gailius (France), and Magdalena Stankuniene (USA).

"In the manor house of the Counts Pliateriai in Bukante, Zemaite (Julija Beniuseviciute-Zymantiene, 1845-1921), the classic of Lithuanian literature, was born and grew up. In her homeplace - the only building that had remained from the manor of the Counts - a memorial about the writer`s life and works has been opened.
The comprises ethnographical-historical aticles, books, publications, photographs. Until 1994 the museum was a subdivision of Telsiai Alka Museum. " (Museums of Lithuania)

"The museum presents many collections of Vytautas Macernis poetry, photographs, documents, personal belongings of the poet.
